These sessions are such a wonderful way to get to know each other before the wedding, settle any nerves about being in front of the camera and enjoy some time together without the pressure of the wedding-day timeline.

I don’t offer videography myself, but I’ve worked alongside some brilliant wedding videographers over the years and I’m always happy to recommend people I know and trust.

If you’d love to have both photography and film on the day, just ask and I can share some names with you.

How To Book Me

From the moment you enquire to the day you receive your final gallery; my goal is to make this experience beautifully simple and entirely personal. Here’s how it all unfolds:

Get in Touch

Fill out the contact form with all of the details as possible of your plans for your day.

Getting to know each other

We’ll arrange a relaxed video call to get to know one another. This is where I’ll learn about your plans, your vision, your venue and the energy you want your day to have in a way that suits you. This can be via What’s App or Zoom or even a traditional phone call and you’ll get a feel for how I work too.

Securing your date

Once you are ready to go ahead, I will send you, a signed contract, welcome guide full of tips and recommended suppliers, your invoice for your booking fee of £250 and booking form. All to make things super easy and stress free.

You are booked in

Once everything has been signed and returned and your booking fee is paid, the date is officially your and I will be so excited to capture your day.

Planning

If you have any questions at any time, you can always call email or what’s app me. I am here though your journey to support and guide you. I will also jump on a courtesy call with you both the week before your wedding day to make any final plans.

The big day!

On the day itself I will be right there with you, capturing those beautiful moments, the laughs, the happy tears and details with a calm presence. Allowing you to relax, be present and enjoy every moment.

Your gallery reveal

After your wedding, your images are carefully curated and edited to perfection by hand. First, you’ll receive your sneak peeks, then your final gallery. Your collection of your love story, told beautifully and authentically.

I photograph weddings and elopements as they happen, with a little guidance when you need it and plenty of space to enjoy the day. What matters to me is that, years from now, you can look back and remember exactly what it felt like to be there. The Experience

From our first chat to your final gallery, it’s hugely important to me that everything feels easy and enjoyable. We’ll talk through your plans, timings, the more traditional photographs, your venue and even a wet-weather plan, so when the wedding arrives you can just have the best time.

On the day, I’ll be there to give you direction when you need it and step back when you don’t. The photography fits around your wedding, not the other way around.

Wedding Photography Pricing FAQs

A few of the things couples ask me most before booking – from where I travel to what you’ll receive after the day.

How much is your booking fee?

I ask for a £250 non-refundable booking fee to secure your date, with the remaining balance due one month before your wedding. I know weddings are expensive and lots of suppliers can end up asking for final balances around the same time, so if you’d prefer to pay in full earlier or would find a payment plan helpful, just let me know. I’m always happy to chat through what works best for you!

Do you offer pre wedding or engagement shoots?

Yes! Pre-wedding and engagement shoots are one of my favourite ways to get to know you before the wedding day, especially if the idea of being in front of the camera makes you a little nervous. There’s no pressure and no audience, just me! We can head somewhere you love, whether that’s the coast, the countryside or somewhere that means something to you. To just spend some time getting comfortable in front of the camera. By the time your wedding comes around, you’ll already know what to expect and being photographed will feel far more natural. If you’d like to add a pre-wedding session to your plans, just get in touch and I’ll talk you through the options.

Should we add a second photographer?

A second photographer can be a great addition for larger weddings, multiple locations or if you’d like even more of the day captured from different perspectives. It isn’t necessary for every wedding though and I’ll always be honest about whether I think you’d benefit from having one.

Do you offer wedding albums?

Yes, I’m incredibly passionate about the fact that wedding photographs deserve to be seen, held and enjoyed, not left sitting on a screen. I offer beautiful fine art wedding albums, thoughtfully made to tell the story of your day and become something you’ll come back to for years to come.

Do I have to order prints through you?

You’ll receive your full gallery digitally, so you’re free to download your images in a lower resolution and you can select and order prints whenever you like. I do offer professionally designed and made albums too, so if you’d rather have everything taken care of for you, I can help with that as well.

What happens if we need to move our date or cancel with you?

Plans can change and if you need to move your wedding date, just let me know as soon as you can. I’ll always do my best to move your booking to the new date if I’m available. If you need to cancel altogether, the terms in your booking agreement will apply, including the non-refundable booking fee. I’ll always explain everything clearly and talk you through the options so you know exactly where you stand.

How do we book?

Once you’ve decided I’m the photographer for you, just send me a message to say, “Hey Laura, we’d love to book!” Then, I’ll send over everything you need, and your date will be secured once your contract is signed and the booking fee is paid. Then the fun part begins, and we can start planning all the details together.

How many photographs will we receive?

There’s no set number because every wedding is different, but I never work to a strict image limit. My job is to tell the whole story of your day, from the big moments to all the lovely little things happening around them. You’ll receive a carefully edited gallery full of the people, atmosphere, details and moments that made the day what it was.

How far in advance should we book?

Most couples book between 12 and 24 months before their wedding date, especially for popular summer weekends. If you love my work, definitely do get in touch! It’s always worth having a chat as soon as possible to check my availability.

How will we receive our photographs?

Your images will be delivered through a beautiful online gallery where you can view, download, share and order professional prints directly. You will also get them on a branded USB.

Can you offer content creation in Devon too?

I provide raw vertical video clips taken on an iPhone, captured throughout your wedding day, alongside one edited reel ready to share on Instagram, TikTok or Facebook. This is delivered within a few days of your wedding, allowing you to relive the excitement straightaway!
